This flagship Client is the largest chain of independent restaurants in the Hawaiian Islands with 26 outlets and 2,500 staff on Oahu and Maui operating 24/7.

They knew that it had a significant loss issues and its efforts to control the loss were futile as their ability to focus in precisely on loss incidents was impeded by lack of specific intelligence to pin point incidents.

Applied Video Solutions visited the sites, providing a full site survey and completing a risk and needs analysis culminating in a full loss prevention proposal covering each and every area of potential shrinkage from the Point of Sale, transaction and also in the areas of delivery, receipt and production.

Applied Video commenced the structured roll out program across the chain and to date, 14 stores have now been installed with at least 12 intelligent cameras each, fully integrated with Point of Sale systems, Applied Video support plan which includes automatic software updates and customized reports allowing the 4 full time loss prevention staff to minimize loss and maximize profits.

Through Applied Video intelligent video analytics, transactions can quickly and easily be isolated to interrogate their legitimacy and where potential fraud has occurred then investigations can quickly be concluded and remedial and preventative action taken.
